Welcome to Stanley Health Centre

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

All calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes

Car Park

Parking at the practice is for those using the practice or pharmacy services. We have dedicated parking for disabled users and ask that you display your Blue Badge each visit.

For anyone not using the Health Centre we ask that you do not use the car park as this prevents those with appointments being able to access the building in time for their appointments.

We have been informed that works are due to commence next door at Stanley Library which means their car park will be closed for the next 14 weeks.

Please allow enough time to find a parking space and attend your appointment in good time - thank you

Electronic Prescriptions

Most prescriptions will be processed electronically. Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money & save you time as you do not have to collect your prescription from the practice to take to a pharmacy

Your nominated pharmacy will still dispense your medications in the same way

Repeat Medication Requests

We will no longer accept requests for medication over the telephone. This was introduced as a temporary arrangement during Covid lockdown. You can order your prescription by post, dropping your request off at the practice or online

Stanley Health Centre is a no smoking area for staff, visitors and patients within the building and car park.  This includes using e-cigarettes and chargers.

Thank you for not smoking whilst visiting the surgery
