Our doors are open and reception is staffed Monday – Friday 8am – 6.30pm. (we close one Wednesday afternoon each month for staff training, see Opening Times for details) & our telephones are open Monday - Friday 8am to 6pm. Our busy times are at 8am each day so you may wish to ring us after 9am for non-urgent matters

Note –please contact us directly by phone or online (using GP Online - see our home page for details about this) for cytology screening (smears) or HGV medicals.
To register for online services you will be asked to provide photo identification (eg passport, photo driving licence or similar) & a utility bill or similar with your address, we can then issue a password to enable you to access this service. When enabled you can go online to order your current repeated medication and book and cancel appointments. You can also check your vaccination history. If you need any assistance ask to speak to our Administration team who will be happy to help.
At the moment same day appointments are not available to book Online.
To meet the increasing demand for ‘same day’ appointments we will release all available appointments with every clinician working that day at 8am, this includes those previously reserved until 12 o’clock for urgent matters
Urgent Appointments – If your problem is urgent we will offer you the first available suitable appointment or telephone triage or may refer you to GP Care Wakefield, who are based in Wakefield
For people unable to attend during our normal working hours we have appointments, subject to availability, from 7am to 7.30pm on some Monday's with our GP's and from 7am on some Wednesday's with our Nursing staff - please ask our receptionist for more information
